Aubree and I used apricots for Laurie Yager's Fruit Nut Bars.
The fruit didn't chop well, (raisins or dried blueberries are recommended ) but they were packed with goodness and sustainable energy. These bars are great for kids, before or after a workout or hike. They were so delicious I seriously couldn't stop eating them.
